What’s included—and what isn’t

Assumes one regular employee job, standard Personal Allowance (including the reduction above £100,000), and employee NI category A below State Pension age. Scottish income-tax bands are used when selected. Weekly or monthly entries are annualised over 52 weeks or 12 months.

Excludes pension contributions, student and postgraduate loans, salary sacrifice, bonuses, taxable benefits, other jobs or income, tax-code adjustments and other deductions. Not for self-employment or pension income. Actual PAYE and NI use pay-period rules and rounding, so your payslip may differ.

This is a planning estimate, not a benefits entitlement calculation, payroll run or tax advice. Don’t make financial decisions based only on this estimate. The full dashboard calculators remain separate.

Rates checked 22 October 2026. Sources: Income Tax, Scottish rates and HMRC 2026/27 thresholds.

Looking for benefits support? A full entitlement calculation needs household details; salary alone cannot determine what you could claim.
